The Blackout House is a large, maze-like area containing various kinds of furniture, along with eye markings on the walls and puddles of blood on the floor. It is initially pitch black and requires the Lantern effect to navigate. Unlike other dark areas, the Lantern has a narrow range here and only shines in the direction Urotsuki is facing, acting like a flashlight.
There is a Shadow Lady in the area, who will chase the player and teleport them to an isolated section of Crossing Thickets if she makes contact. Because the player can only see her when she comes into the range of the Lantern, it can be difficult to react in time. One strategy for avoiding her is frequently switching between the Lantern and Invisible effects, as she will not see you while the latter is active.
There is an electrical box in one corridor. Interacting with it will illuminate the entire area, as well as remove the Shadow Lady and horror elements. This is permanent and persists between dream sessions, though the player can interact with the box again to turn off the lights.
