Soutarou (宗太郎) or Shuutarou is the main character of Mikan Muzou.

Appearance

Soutarou's (possible) faceset icon/original painting of his face

Soutarou has long white hair tied in a ponytail. He wears an open turquoise jacket, a black shirt, grey jeans, and brown shoes. He is also said to have an earring on his left ear, which can be seen in certain pieces of official art. Due to his voice and appearance, some fans see him as an (older) adolescent/young adult.

The in-game menu has a tab featuring descriptions of Soutarou's outfit:

  • Left & right hands: Nothing - Soutarou's not holding anything in his hands.
  • Upper Body: Jacket - A jacket and a black shirt
  • Lower Body: Jeans - They fit well
  • Decorative: Piercing - A small one

Personality

Unknown, but judging by the muted colors of his dreams as well as a more dark tone, plus a few NPCs, he might have a darker, solitary personality. Plus, some effects may indicate that Soutarou could be kind of a violent/aggressive person.

For unclear reasons, Soutarou, at first, either cannot or will not open the door to his room. This remains to be the case until Soutarou collects all seventeen effects within the dream world, after which the door can be opened to trigger any of the game's four endings, the ending seen depending upon whether certain additional conditions have been met.

Past

Nothing about Soutarou's past is known for certain. However, the nature of Soutarou's dreams may indicate a dark or even criminal past.
