Minnatsuki's Room is the area in which the game starts, and the one from which you enter the spirit world.
Features
The room is bleakly colored, with cracked walls and a wooden floor with a faded carpet. Some boxes lay in the corner of the room. To the right is a bed with a book on it and a nightstand; interacting with the bed causes Minnatsuki to sit on it and open the Book.
On the center of the wall is a door and a light switch. Attempting to leave the room will cause Minnatsuki to shake their head. The light switch can be used to make the room turn bright.
On the left side of the room is a large totem pole with intricate carvings, with its top shaped like a bird. Interacting with it will make it glow and take you to the Spirit Room.
Spirit Room
Once the totem has been interacted with, other players become visible. A large cosmic cloud stretches from the totem. The book is no longer present, and interacting with the light switch fills the room with a blue glow. Leaving through the door in this state will take you to the Nexus.
Book
Opening the book will show a cover of the player's choosing. The book has four pages which can be switched between using the number keys:
- The first page, accessed by pressing 1, lets you save your game and displays some statistics such as taken steps and the current game version.
- The second page, accessed by pressing 3, lets you select a cover for the book.
- The third page, accessed by pressing 5, lets you choose a menu theme.
- The fourth page, accessed by pressing the 9 key contains various options that alter certain mechanics in the game such as the wallpaper cover notification or the keys used for certain actions.
Pressing X will close the book, or return you to the room if the book is already closed.
