Yume Wiki is a website dedicated to Yume Nikki and Yume Nikki fangames.

Information on using Yume Wiki is covered in this page. Some of this information also applies to Yume Wiki's sister site, the Yume Nikki Fangames Wiki.

More information on Yume Wiki itself can be found on the About page.

Topic
Yume Nikki is an exploration game made in RPG Maker. Its popularity has inspired many fangames, some with their own wikis. Most Yume Nikki fangames, or YNFG, follow the traditional structure of the original: exploring a dream world to collect "effects" and see special events.
Scope
Yume Wiki aims to cover as much content as possible on the wikis it hosts: the locations in the dream world and their connections, the characters found within, and any collectables including effects and events. It also covers game authors and fan theories.
Currently, the Yume Nikki Fangames Wiki has individual pages on fangames, whereas the main Yume Wiki hosts entire wikis dedicated to a specific game, including the Yume Nikki Wiki.
Help
The wiki has developed a standard structure over time; most pages display their basic details in an infobox, and have detailed information in the page sections. You can find most pages through the Content category, and ask for assistance using the Community portal.
Contribution
Editing involves learning MediaWiki's simple wikitext markup or the intuitive Visual Editor. Most edits can be made within moments after making an account. The pages on editing help can guide you to using the wiki's namespace structure and contributing media. As it covers game content instead of research, Yume Wiki is not usually sourced, instead being written and updated by those who enjoy the games.
