Overlapping Moons is an area accessible from Monochrome DECK Area.

Features

This area is filled with water that reflects multiple moons, some of which overlap each other (as the name implies). It is relatively small with little to interact with, save for some platforms you can dock your boat at. One of these platforms hosts a purple blob-like creature with three closed eyes. If you Chainsaw this creature, the screen will go black, before revealing that all the water has turned to blood and the creature has opened its eyes. If you go northeast, you will now find a mass similar to the purple creature that serves as the entrance to the Bone-chewing Creature sub-area.

Bone-Chewing Creature

The background of this area features a crudely white drawn creature chewing on a bone that bears a visual similarity to the Thing With The Quivering Jaw from Yume Nikki. If you equip the Stretch effect, the background changes into a long, black stump with blood dripping out of it. If you equip the Grave effect, the background will be fully black, except for white square encasing an abstract black shape. The background music will change when either of these effects are equipped.

Entering this sub-area will cause your menu to temporarily take on a unique set of sound effects not found elsewhere in the game.
