Not really, if the other maps play fine, you shouldn't worry about it. It will most likely be fixed in an upcoming version. Some maps with alpha transparency overlays tend to lag if the image is not optimized correctly, thanks to the ancient, windows 95-era display system utilized by RPG Maker.
