It is truly a wonder why does pretty much everyone makes theories about sexual assault on most Yume Nikki fangames.
I personally took the rotten egg as the state of being dead inside for some reason. I do believe that Urotsuki was neglected as a child, which that's pretty much my explanation for that (although that doesn't explain the creepy smile). It could also be something along the lines of a corruption agent; that's why you need to collect all the eggs scattered all over her dream world, since it wouldn't work with a lower level of contamination.
