The Halloween Zone (ランプ, Ranpu, Lamp) was an area accessible from Dream Mexico by interacting with a pumpkin in one of the buildings. This area was added in 0.104b, but has since been removed.

    Features

This area has little to no features, considering it being a small sub-section of Dream Mexico -- thus, as you interact with the pumpkin back in the host world, you will end up in a house filled with spooky trees, pumpkins, spooky lanterns and spooky coffins, often signalizing to find yourself in something Halloween-themed.

As you walk across the place, you will notice that there are things surrounding you, signalizing your location, and it's a thing to keep in mind during navigation: as you explore the world further once you're out of the house, you will use this way to understand if you're close to the hospital, the tree house or the pumpkin house. You will either see + signs that will indicate the Candy Hospital, or mushrooms that will indicate that you're around the tree house.

The hospital is a small, messy sub-area that has tons of seats and some beds inside the rooms you can enter. It was surprisingly in construction at the time, for some odd reason.

The tree house, at last, is just a very small house with a lit fireplace, a very cozy bed, a big table and a chair to go along with it, a mushroom creature that will make a weird sound when interacted with, and a carpet to indicate where the exit can be found.

    Trivia

    • The BGM that played here was quite similar to the version of N3-WeR that played in the forest underneath the Chaotic Buildings, and a recording of it still persists here. Anon could have potentially forgotten to master the BGM, ending up with distortion in some spots due to it being too loud.
    • However, while it did exist, it may have been intended to be a reference to Lamp World from the original Yume Nikki.
