Cliffside Temple is a small area accessible from the Deranged Faces Zone.
Features
The entrance to the temple is lined with a quirky fence, along with faceless statues of Kubotsuki ominously hovering. One statue is bleeding from its head. Inside the temple is a tatami floor with shoji screens everywhere, as well as three women walking about. In the back of the temple is a room with a lamp. Interacting with the lamp will cause the area to switch between having a blue, monochrome appearance and a more natural appearance. Attempting to leave while the area in the monochrome state will lead to a large formation, taking you to the Deranged Faces Zone.
Leaving the temple in its normal state leads to the main outdoor area. It features green grass and blue dirt paths, as well as stones with odd markings lining the place. Going all the way down will take you to the edge of the cliff. Towards the bottom-right of the area is a hole with a ladder. This ladder leads to a small room with a couch, some sandboxes, and drawings on the wall that resemble the creatures in the Clash of Mutated Forms. Exiting this room leads to a sandy path that takes you to a small, photorealistic beach with strange shapes in the sky. In the water is a staircase that goes down to the Underwater Subway.
