The Atelier is a location initially found through the Execution Ground.
Features
The Atelier is quite a large area adorned with red carpets and is reminiscent of an art gallery, featuring numerous works of art resembling the ones found in Portrait Purgatory, with many others depicting existing worlds seen throughout Yume 2kki, including Red Lily Lake, Shell Lake, Omurice Labyrinth, Forest World, Scarlet Corridors, Green Neon World, Red Rock Caves, and Dream Park, with one area also featuring sculptures of three creatures. Numerous shadowy figures can be found viewing the artwork, but vanish when touched. A large dining hall and library can be found here as well as a seemingly endless, featureless hallway that doesn't appear to lead to anything. Strangely, you cannot use the Tissue effect in this world.
By entering the door north of the three sculptures, you can also find a room with a Shadow Lady looking at a portrait of herself in Forest World. When chainsawed, the music will stop, the screen becomes tinted red, and she will become insane and begin chasing the player; the portrait's background will disappear with the insane Shadow Lady in its place. If the player is caught, Urotsuki will be trapped in that very same portrait, and will wake up a few seconds later.
On the second floor, one can find a bedroom belonging to a blonde girl in a red hat, who will turn to look at you if you use the Telephone or Bug effects near her, and will run away if the Chainsaw or Marginal effect is equipped. To the right of her room's entrance is a pair of gendered bathrooms, where Urotsuki can use the women's room as normal or the men's room with the Boy effect. By taking the stairs and traveling further right, you can open a door which will lead you to to Portrait Purgatory, but it must be unlocked by entering through the opposite side.
Gallery
Urotsuki views paintings of Shell Lake, Scarlet Corridors, and Omurice Labyrinth respectively.
