The Guardians are a group of secret NPCs appearing in the Dream Park and worlds connected to it. They act as important characters in the series of maps surrounding the Dream Park, unlocking various parts of it. They are usually split in three categories, the Grand Guardians, the Five Guardians and the Lesser Guardians.

All of them have the same color scheme, having a dark purple body and red eyes. Their shape is different for each guardian, however.

List of Guardians

The Grand Guardians

The Grand Guardians are two mysterious entities who have not been seen physically yet. They only appear on stone tablets and in peepholes as images. They are usually depicted as being more important than even the Five Guardians, appearing either at the top or in the center of formations featuring them. The appearance of two tablets featuring them near two locked doors at the end of the Sacred Crypt might indicate that they currently reside here.

After the re-construction of the Egg in the Hidden Shrine, returning to their respective shrine leads Urotsuki to the Guardians' Realm, with each Guardian having its own version of the world. In this realm, Urotsuki can unseal each of the Five Guardians, opening the door to the Sacred Crypt.
