Managed to find out about the "hidden debug room" that isn't the room beyond the keyhole. You get there by starting the RPG_RT.exe using the TestPlay flag and then walking three-four steps to the right of the real world room door, then pressing activation button, then going back and walking through the door.
This room allows you to get all effects, amongst other things, and you can warp to different maps.
This really should be on the wiki somewhere.
