There are new areas, but no eggs. There is a playground that you can reach by going down at a sign, that leads you to some serene field/park-like area with a Christmas tree and a pair of crying eyes that react to Marginal, Teru Teru Bouzu and Medabomb effects. If you choose not to go down at the sign, there is just a gray room with cones and some sort of snow globe in it.
