There is an event as well: going through the tentacles takes you where you'd get the bug effect, except that interacting with the bug statue triggers a series of flashes, depicting Urotsuki and the statue in various worlds for a few seconds. Eventually you reach an enclosure with a grey statue of Urotsuki, which wakes you up if interacted with.
