Celestial Platforms is an area accessible from the blue Teleport Rune in the small maze in Underwater Statue Garden.

Features

Celestial Platforms is composed of a number of platforms floating within the depths of a starry night sky. The platforms are connected vertically by multiple ladders that can be climbed in order to navigate to the very peak. The world is populated with blue, star-like NPCs who roam the various platforms freely.

Near the ladder which extends to the peak can be found a wooden bench and a blue vending machine.

Hoshiko's House

Just to the east of the ladder can be found the house where Hoshiko, a girl with a black bob cut wearing a yellow shirt, lives. Inside Hoshiko's house is a small bedroom with mauve walls and a wooden floor. It is furnished with a bed, three windows, two posters, a small shelf with some books, and a desk with a computer, some drawers, and a chair. The room is dark, as the lights are turned off. There is a light switch near the door which can be interacted with. Typically, this will result in the lights turning on as expected, causing the background music to cut out and prompting Hoshiko to run over to flip the light switch back off, with Minnatsuki automatically moving out of their way. However, there is a 1/15 (6.67%) chance that each time the light switch is turned on, the Cosmic Horror event will be activated instead. The player does not need to leave the room in order to keep trying to activate the event.

If the Cosmic Horror event is triggered, the screen will suddenly become tinted red, and Hoshiko's room, which will have changed to appear as if it has been partially melted, will start shaking violently from side to side. Upon interacting with Hoshiko, who will be standing in the center of the room, they, too, will melt away, disappearing completely as the screen loses its red tint and an opening appears in the wall behind where they stood.

Exiting the room through the newly formed opening in the wall will cause any currently equipped eidola to be unequipped and take Minnatsuki outside of Hoshiko's house, which now has a black, tentacled monster with three eyes looming over it from behind. The view of this scene is substantially zoomed out, and Minnatsuki's sprite will appear smaller and less detailed as a result. The menu will be unable to be opened during this portion of the event. Interacting with the tentacled monster will transport Minnatsuki to a strange and nightmarish dimension containing giant tentacles, strange plants, and arachnids. Minnatsuki, still depicted with the small sprite from before, will fall through this realm for a few moments before being transported to an isolated section of Sunset Woods.

The Peak

Atop the very peak, where the moon is visible in the distance behind blue and purple clouds, a cube which grants the "Celestial" Menu Theme can be found. Additionally, there is another wooden bench that Minnatsuki can sit on. Standing at the northern edge of the platform and holding the 'W' key will pan the camera up to a less obstructed view of the moon. Releasing the 'W' key will pan the camera back down.
