The Nexus is the entry point to the rest of the spirit world, and the first world seen when exiting Minnatsuki's Room after interacting with the totem.
Features
The main area of the Nexus consists of two islands with blue foliage floating in a shimmering void. The islands are connected by a wooden bridge lined with lamps.
The northern island contains a large tree with lanterns hanging from it. Entering the brown door embedded in it will take Minnatsuki back to their room, while climbing the ladder will take them to the Treehouse.
Arranged in a ring formation around the perimeter of the northern island island are twelve tree stumps, each with a different object sitting upon them. Each of these objects will, upon interaction, transport Minnatsuki to a different world. Starting from the upper-left and going counterclockwise:
- The arcade machine leads to Dream Arcade.
- The blob of unspecified orange substance leads to Alloy World.
- The peacock feather leads to Peacock World.
- The bulb ornament leads to Ornament World.
- The pink crescent moon leads to Dusk World.
- The red-and-blue face leads to Spiral Limb Passage.
- The shrimp leads to Shrimp Zone.
- The red obelisk leads to Obelisks.
- The green cap leads to Snow Lake.
- The flower leads to Lavender Ruins.
- The small tree leads to CGA Forest.
- The small lamppost leads to Pale Park.
The southern island is furnished with a bird-like totem pole in the center. Surrounding it are five benches, including a particularly wide one to the south of it. There is a small crescent-shaped pond further south of the totem pole that can be crossed by utilizing the stepping stones at its center.
Treehouse
Climbing the ladder leads to a cozy room with a carpet, some pillows and a couch. Next to the couch is a record player, which allows you to play back various tracks from the game. There is also a TV; however, interacting with it does nothing.
On the right side of the main room is an entrance to a room with an enormous vending machine. Interacting with it will pan the camera up to a large screen near the top of the machine, which displays an interface that allows for the selection and purchase of almost any snack that has been obtained before from vending machines across the spirit world. The available snacks can be browsed by using the left and right movement keys, and pressing the interact key will purchase the currently selected snack. Any snack which has not been obtained before will appear here as an empty slot.
Another ladder can be found up the stairs on the left side of the main room, and climbing it will take Minnatsuki to a small balcony overlooking the void.
