Character Plate is a world accessed from the purple gradient circle in the Mind Nexus.

Features

Upon entering this void-type world, Yin Ming's sprite will have an animated stick figure "shadow," which persists as long as he is in Character Plate. The world's namesake feature are the dark purple and teal slabs scattered about, all which have a sort of radial pattern engraved on them. Some plates have graffiti on them, either characters (painted in bright red or cyan), or some abstract, organic-looking shapes. Some plates appear to be floating off the ground (as indicated by a shadow below). Besides these plates, many patches of (impassible) flowers can be found, some of which even seem to be growing on the plates.

Traveling slightly downward from the entrance and then walking left in a straight path, a simple gray door with a glass window is found: this is the connection to Classroom. South of this door is a long, wall-like plate, one which has a ground-level graffiti drawing- the cones on either side suggesting a future connection.

Traveling directly southward from the entrance, an especially tall pillar can be found, covered in red characters. At the base of this pillar is a girl with black hair done up in pigtails. She glances at Yin Ming if he interacts with her. If he equips the Emptiness property, her head will turn into a golden flower- unlocking Wallpaper #11. (Note: she must be interacted with first before equipping Emptiness to properly unlock the wallpaper.)

South from this girl is a large pen writing on an equally large piece of paper- this is the connection to Sketchbook.

Trivia

  • The characters seen are meant to be (néng), (chéng), and (téng); their meanings can all be interpreted to having something to do with actions (see their corresponding Wiktionary entries for more in-depth definitions).
