Mikan is the main protagonist of Braingirl.
Overview
Unlike other Yume Nikki protagonists, she seems to be actively conscious of her outfit when utilizing effects.
While in the real world, Mikan wears a large green shirt to bed. In the dream world, however, Mikan's default outfit includes a white windbreaker jacket, black stockings, and red ankle-boots as described by her inventory. She also appears to be wearing a backpack, which may be an indicator that she frequently went to school as a child.
Additionally, she is able to leave her room and freely roam her apartment without actually exiting it. Despite not leaving her home while awake, many areas throughout the game imply places she has visited before. One example of this is the Streets Hub, which could represent a place she grew up in based on its similarities to a town or neighborhood.
