The Floyag (also referred to as Uterus-Monsters) are decorative characters that reside in the The Infinite Road.

Overview

There are six Floyag variants that can be seen while traversing the road, each vaguely shaped like a uterus with two eyes and what appears to be either a mouth or third eye. They come in red, pink, green, and various shades of purple. They do not react to any effect that Madotsuki uses and will simply float by the road.

When backtracking through the Infinite Road, a single green Floyag will appear as Madotsuki enters the Dense Woods B. As Madotsuki exits the Infinite Road, the green Floyag's eyes will creepily move to focus on her.

Theories

The Floyag are largely known for their vaguely yonic appearance, resembling a uterus with their two eyes possibly representing ovaries. Combined with their disturbing appearance and the various other themes relating to body parts found throughout the game, it has been speculated that Madotsuki may have some sort of fear towards them. Considering that one of the Floyag watches Madotsuki as she walks by, it has also been speculated that the themes of body imagery and anxiety/being watched found throughout Yume Nikki may be somewhat linked.

Trivia

According to a thumbs.db file in version 0.06 of the game, the pink Floyag was originally the one to stare at Madotsuki instead of the green one.
