Serpent Ruins A is a looping world divided into a grid of rooms, with hallways running between them. The area is filled with multicolored snakes, often blocking the path forward. Three groups of them are arranged in a pattern resembling the number three. The Chainsaw effect is needed to get through.
Heading two rooms east and two rooms south leads to a Light Lady, who shows a close up of her smiling before taking Urotsuki to Mourning Void when interacted with.
One room west and two south from the entrance is a lone black snake with red eyes. Interacting with it takes Urotsuki to an isolated section in Pointing Labyrinth.
