The Beach is an area accessible from the purple flower in the Nexus.

Features

This sandy area is covered with purple and yellow flowers, small sprouts and shrubs, shells, and patches of blue stones.

North of the entrance is an opening between the fence leading to the Hives, where the music takes a slower pace while the bees bustle about. A long bench can be found next to the boardwalk. In the meadow are fully grown trees, some reduced to stumps, and a short bench appropriate for one. Below it is an open bag slumped next to an abandoned, red-checkered picnic blanket and prepared meal. Interacting with the small jar at the top of the blanket grants the Honey key.

Southwest of the entrance is a dark blue hut with a gray circular symbol on the front. Entering its doorway takes Danaë to the Midnight Mall.

All the way to the south are bright blue waves, which can be crossed with the Star key, leading to the Holy Sea. If Danaë journeys across the sea atop Pouleine, she will wash up on these shores.

Somewhere on the beach is a crafty shapeshifter named Roxane, who has a bushy tail and ears like a tanuki and a blue outfit with green accents. She will transform into different objects on the beach, rushing from one spot to the next. Danaë may engage in a game of hide-and-seek with them, ideally trapping her in a cluster of plants. Equipping the Brambles key and quickly striking Roxane when she turns back into her human form will cause the Metamorphosis event, ultimately waking Danaë up.
