The Seahorse is a decorative character that resides inside one of the houses in the lower portion of the Barracks Settlement.

    Overview

The Seahorse is an orange creature with large green eyes that vaguely resembles the face of a seahorse. It has four horns, two on each side of its head, a black dot on its forehead, and a proboscis-like mouth. In Version 0.08, the Seahorse was instead purple and its eyes had much brighter colors while lacking the forehead dot and horns on its head.

It can be found inside one of the lower houses in the Barracks Settlement, surrounded by coral-like structures. It can be stabbed with the Knife effect, although it can't be killed.

Before the Seahorse was present in this house, Buyo Buyo took its place, thus being the original location of the Buyo Buyo effect. However, the Seahorse first appeared in Version 0.08 with its purple appearance, sucking Buyo Buyo dry with its proboscis. In Version 0.09 the Seahorse had turned orange with Buyo Buyo's shriveled corpse next to it, with the alive Buyo Buyo being relocated to FC World B.[1] By Version 0.10, Buyo Buyo's corpse disappeared, and only the Seahorse was left in the house.

    Trivia

    • Curiously, the time that the Seahorse changed colors was the same time that the totems in FC World B near Buyo Buyo changed color as well.
    The death of Buyo Buyo.
