The Spore Forest is an area accessible from a pillar in the Entomophobia Realm.

Map of the Spore Forest.

Features

Spore Forest is a large, sprawling maze-like area covered in what appears to be miasma. Along the way, you can find mushrooms of different sizes, as well as orb-like fairies populating the area, who turn light blue and follow Urotsuki when the Fairy effect is active and hide when the Chainsaw or Lantern effects are equipped. There are also a couple of hidden pathways within the foliage, which can be found through some small passages.

Over time, the miasma will become more intense, which will be represented by an increasing opacity. Once the miasma reaches an apex where it is practically impossible to see, Urotsuki will lose consciousness from the miasma, triggering an event. Using the Spacesuit effect will gradually reduce the miasma over time. Note that the Spacesuit is not technically required to navigate, but be cautious.

From the south of where you start off from, there is a lake that you can take a U-turn from in order to check out some hidden sections. Going north of the right side of said lake, then entering a passage on the western side leads to a section with a tree stump bearing a face. Its facial expression depends on the effects that you have equipped, and if you chainsaw it, it will be angered, releasing a heavy miasma that will make Urotsuki fall unconscious, waking her up as a result.

Going east of the lake, and taking the first branch of the narrow southern path from there, you can find a hidden passage to a gateway that leads to Spiked Fence Garden.
