Annotated Map of Spiral Limb Passage

Spiral Limb Passage is an area accessible from the stump with the red-and-blue face on top of it in the Nexus.

Features

Spiral Limb Passage is a large, looping, void-like world filled with spiraling paths composed of crude drawings of eyes, set atop a scrolling background of eyes and red splatter. Screaming creatures of various shapes can be found throughout the world.

Following the path starting from the entryway that connects to the Nexus and then going north and slightly west from the end of the path will lead to a small, cave-like entrance that resembles the Nexus connection. Going through it leads to a small spiral path with a large, blue, tree-like object at the end. Interacting with it activates the animated, fullscreen Spiral Dance event, in which some of the creatures that live amongst the world will shimmy back and forth to a crackling recording of a simple piano tune. Pressing the directional keys will play various drum samples, while pressing the 'X' key will dismiss the event.

West of the entrance is a cellphone tower, which will take Minnatsuki to Dial Tone when interacted with, with no way of returning. Northwest of the tower is a small, blue building featuring a doorway that leads to Midnight Street. Southwest of the building is a red Teleport Rune which will take Minnatsuki to Glass Shards Path. West of the entrance to the pathway where the Spiral Dance event can be activated is a gray Teleport Rune which will take Minnatsuki to Dilapidated Complex.

Interacting with the thick, red, twisting, tree-like creatures with blue faces unlocks the "The Wailing Tree" Book Cover.

Waiting long enough within the main area of the world for the background music to loop will cause the scrolling backdrop to turn red; this is purely a visual change. If the music completes a loop while Minnatsuki is within the pathway where the Spiral Dance event can be activated, returning to the main area will also cause the background to turn red. Exiting and reentering the world again will cause the background to be temporarily reset to its original, black state. Entering the pathway where the Spiral Dance event is located will also cause the background to turn black again. This will, as well, be temporarily reflected within the main area if it is returned to before the music completes another loop.
