Itsuki is the main character of the game Someday. While he has had this status since the game's original release, in the earliest versions his design was considerably different to the current iteration.
Physical Appearance
Itsuki wears a soft green sweater with a tree symbol on the left side of the chest area, blue jeans and brown shoes.
He has light skin, short light brown hair with two strands popping up from his head as well as some few strands protruding to the sides and has green eyes.
Personality
Itsuki is a somewhat lonely person, with several events and areas implying some way or another that he struggles forming and maintaining relationships with his peers, he seems to have given up maintaining friendships almost entirely.
He also appears to resent himself and struggle with perfectionism and coping with being unable to fit his own expectations over himself.
Besides that, based of the motifs of the most positive areas of the dream world, he seems to have an appreciation for nature, video games and even has tried game development sometime in the past.
Past
Itsuki's past is mostly explained through the cutscenes that play upon finding each Crystal, however several feats also give hints about his backstory.
He seems to have been adopted by a dysfunctional couple, with a neglectful adoptive dad and his mother struggling with depression, with him seemingly being adopted after some sort of accident in his very young years. He does not resent his biological parents over this, wanting to find them to tell them that he survived said accident and that he loves them despite not remembering them.
He also was a common target of bullying, at least during his younger years, however he still seems to be regularly ignored by his classmates.
Trivia
- Itsuki's full name is Itsuki Inoue.[2]
- Itsuki's birthday is on May 10th.[3]
- Jojogape has confirmed that Itsuki himself developed ZApNeF (the minigame) under the alias "ayosu-5ki". This can be confirmed by yourself in the game; "PRODUCED BY AYOSU-5KI" is written at the bottom of the ZApNeF title screen, and Itsuki's name in the menu changes to "ayosu-5ki" when entering the Internet, implying that it is his username, that he made ZApNeF, and that he possibly posted it online.[4]
- Going back to Computer World or entering Wave Path reverts Itsuki's name, but entering Tubes or Wobbly World from Internet does not. This is a bug.
- Itsuki is 1.75 meters tall, or 5'9.[5]
