Scooter

Appearance: Itsuki rides a scooter.
Passive Effect: Itsuki travels at double his normal walking speed. It does not work underwater.

Location: Found in Purple Polka-Dot World by following the green tube.
Practical Uses: Can be used to travel through the dream world much faster, chase fast-moving NPCs, and escape from chasers more easily.
Doodle
"Become a doodle"/"Be random"
Appearance: Itsuki has the outline of a doodle.
Passive Effect: None.
Action: None.
Location: Found in Doodle World.
Practical Uses: None.
Sick
"Get sick"/"Pretend to be sick"
Appearance: Itsuki looks ill.
Passive Effect: Itsuki walks at half his normal speed.
Action: Itsuki sneezes.
Location: Found in Dark World.
Practical Uses: None.
Glitch

Appearance: Itsuki glitches around.
Passive Effect: None.
Action: None.

Practical Uses: Talking to Kondo in the Glitch World with this effect grants you the "Kondo" feat.
8-bit
"Change to low resolution"/"Get nostalgic"
Appearance: Itsuki looks like he's from an 8-bit game.
Passive Effect: None.
Action: None.
Location: Found in 8-bit World.
Practical Uses: If you talk to Zapnef in the Glitch World with this effect, he will transport to you to Fake Zapnef Level.
Nerd
"Become a nerd"/"Act nerdy"
Appearance: Itsuki wears a checker patterned shirt with glasses.
Passive Effect: None.
Action: Itsuki adjusts his glasses.
Location: Found in School World.
Practical Uses: Entering the big playground in School World triggers a special event.
Monochrome
"Become a monochrome child"/"Feel alienated"
Appearance: Itsuki looks like his classmates.
Passive Effect: None.

Practical Uses: Interacting with the black tiles in the Art Gallery will turn them white.
Bald

Appearance: Itsuki becomes bald.

Megaphone
"Become a megaphone"/"Draw attention"
Appearance: Itsukis head turns into a megaphone.
Passive Effect: None.
Action: Plays a random sound that attracts NPCs. It also enrages Hexagons.
Location: Found in Neon World.
Practical Uses: Can be used to move the metal balls in the Testing Area.
Blob
"Become a colorful blob"/"Have colorful thoughts"'
Appearance: Itsuki turns into a blob.
Passive Effect: None.
Action: Itsuki changes between six possible colors (red, yellow, green, cyan, blue, magenta).
Location: Found in Alphanumeric World.
Practical Uses: Interacting with the black tiles in the Art Gallery will turn them the color that Itsuki is using.
Wrench
"Wield a handy wrench"/"Want to beat someone"
Appearance: Itsuki carries a wrench.
Passive Effect: Some NPCs will walk away from you.
Action: Itsuki swings his wrench.
Location: Found in Space World.
Practical Uses: Can be used to open crates and kill NPCs. It also enrages Hexagons.
Raincoat
"Wear a raincoat"/"Wish to stop raining"
Appearance: Itsuki wears a raincoat.
Passive Effect: Makes it rain, until the Raincoat effect is unequipped from the pause menu or by pressing 3 (except for Rain World). The Seabed will turn slightly darker.
Action: None.
Location: Found in Rain World.
Practical Uses: Going to the Beach or Ice World with this effect grants you the "Rainbow" and "Snow" feat respectively.
Scarf
"Wear a warm scarf"/"Pretend to be who you are not"
Appearance: Itsuki wears a scarf.
Passive Effect: None.
Action: None.
Location: Found in 8-bit World.
Practical Uses: None.
Classic
"Look like a hikikomori"/"Be like the rest"
Appearance: Itsuki has a similar appearance as Tsukitsuki.

TV
"Get a TV for a head"/"Be addicted to television"
Appearance: Itsukis head turns into a TV.
Passive Effect: None.
Action: The TV turns on. Masks will not chase you when the TV is on.
Location: Found in Tubes.
Practical Uses: Receives signals in tests 8 and 20 in the Testing Area, which is necessary in order to complete them.
Fox
"Grow fox ears and a tail"/"Show your cute side"
Appearance: Itsuki grows fox ears and tail.
Passive Effect: Looks adorable.
Action: Itsuki will move his ears and tail.
Location: Found in the Forest.
Practical Uses: Can be used to jump ledges up or down, instead of just down.
Candle holder
"Be a candle holder"/"Keep your hopes up high"
Appearance: Itsuki transforms into a candle holder.
Passive Effect: Lights up dark places. In the Seabed, the candle will be put out.
Action: None.
Location: Found in Pink Maze.
Practical Uses: Can be used to navigate the Dark World and test 11 in the Testing Area.
Clockworker
"Become a clockworker"/"Want to go back in time"
Appearance: Itsuki wears the Clockworkers clothes.
Passive Effect: None.
Action: Brings you back to The Nexus.
Location: Found in Clock Tower.
Practical Uses: Comes in handy after reaching a dead end or bring trapped by a chaser.
Diving suit
"Wear a diving suit"/"Remember the summer days"
Appearance: Itsuki wears a diving suit.
Passive Effect: Itsuki travels at double his normal walking speed underwater.
Action: None.
Location: Found in the Beach.
Practical Uses: Exploring the Seabed and the Dance Flood in its flooded state, where the Scooter does not work.
Mercury
"Become solid mercury"/"Try to go unnoticed"
Appearance: Itsukis body will entirely consist of mercury.
Passive Effect: None.
Action: Itsuki will become a puddle and pour through cracks in certain walls, allowing him to pass through them.
Location: Found in the Testing Area.
Practical Uses: Needed in some tests from the Testing Area. It is also used in the Sewers to reach the puddle that transports you to the Shower.
Healing aura
"Emit a healing aura"/"Be helpful"
Appearance: Itsuki has a glowing aura around him.
Passive Effect: None.
Action: Itsuki will fix certain glitched spots in his dreams, marked with a green cross inside a circle.
Location: Found in the Hospital.
Practical Uses: Opening new connections between worlds, such as the two first Subway stations, or the phone booth in the Hospital.
Wood
"Become a wooden doll"/"Be emphatic"
Appearance: Itsuki turns into a wooden doll.
Passive Effect: None.
Action: When stepping on special marks with a tree inside a brown circle, Itsuki will teleport to a nearby place by exchanging his position with a wooden doll of himself.
Location: Found in the Testing Area.
Practical Uses: Needed for certain tests in the Testing Area, and to explore Wobbly World.
Tomato
"Get a tomato for a head"/"Be passionate"
Appearance: Itsukis head turns into a tomato.
Passive Effect: Crickets in the Dark World and the Sewers will approach you.
Action: None.
Location: Found in Edible World.
Practical Uses: Attracts crickets, such as the one in the Sewers.
Lab Coat
"Wear a lab coat"/"Be interested in science"
Appearance: Itsuki wears a lab coat.
Passive Effect: None.
Action: Itsuki will pose and laugh maniacally.
Location: Found in High School.
Practical Uses: Unlocking the teleporter at the end of the Testing Area.
Endgame effects
Besides the 24 regular effects, there's a special effect that can only be obtained in the Meta-Nexus during the endings.
Baku
"Become a dream eater"/"Don't be afraid to be yourself"
Appearance: Itsuki becomes a mythological baku.
Passive Effect: None.
Action: None.
Location: Given by the Teru Teru Bozu at the top of the stairway in the Meta-Nexus.
Practical Uses: Required to unlock the good ending.
