    One day, while wandering through the castle, Mario came across a dusty old TV in the attic. It was a Sony Trinitron, a relic from the past, and Mario was immediately drawn to it.
    ==Features==
    The Radiant Stones Pathway is an area recognizable for the unique way it shows the paths one can walk on. In many worlds, the panorama is constantly visible through the ground, and the paths, which are often indicated with a graphic of some sort, are solid and opaque. However, in this area, the reverse is true; the walls of the area are simply solid black, while the panorama can be seen between the stones of the main path. This creates a unique effect where the ground appears to glow, hence the name.

    He picked up the TV and carried it down to his workshop, where he began to tinker with it. Using his knowledge of electronics and his natural plumber's skills, Mario set about modding the Trinitron.
    Aside from that, however, the area is quite small. Along the main path, objects such as trees and various large creatures can be found, as well as a large green eel outside the boundaries of the area. Some areas are encircled with tiles resembling faces.

    He added a special RGB circuit to the TV, which gave the picture a crisp, vibrant color that he had never seen before. Mario was amazed by the transformation, and he spent hours tinkering and testing the TV to see what else he could do.
    In the deepest part of the area is a long path leading to the right, marked by several blue creatures that stand on three legs, similar to the [[Yume Nikki:Floyag|Floyag]] of the original Yume Nikki. The end of the path leads to a red smiling creature, which takes you to [[Yume 2kki:Flooded Buildings|Flooded Buildings]].

    But as Mario worked, he failed to notice the faulty wiring in the Trinitron. As he plugged it in for the final test, a spark flew from the TV and landed on a nearby pile of kindling.

    The fire spread quickly, engulfing Mario's workshop in flames. Mario tried to escape, but the heat and smoke were too much for him. He collapsed on the floor, unable to move as the flames consumed him.
