The Forest is an area accessible from the Tree Path of the 8-bit World or from picking the leftmost option at the crossroads in the Data World.
Features
The Forest consists of various stone/dirt platforms covered in grass, bushes, trees and clovers, which are suspended over a pale yellow sky.
There are two sections of this area, each isolated from the other: The biggest section is the one accessible from the Data World, which houses several smaller platforms on top of the main area, which Itsuki can jump to with the Fox effect, some few N coins, a lone wasp, and Miru, the fox NPC that gives the Fox effect when interacted with.
If Itsuki kills the wasp from this section, then leaves the world and returns, the world will be filled with wasps which cannot be killed, ominous droning music will replace the usual ambient track, the world will have an intense yellow tint and, if revisiting this section, Miru the fox will be hiding deeper in its tree, making the Fox effect unobtainable in these conditions. Seeing this unlocks the Wasps feat. This change also applies to entering the isolated section accessible from the 8-bit World and it reverts after waking up and going back to sleep.
The smaller section is the one accessible from the 8-bit World, which only houses two breakable crates (which give 25N each when broken) and the 4-leaf clover.
Directions
- To reach the Fox effect:
The Nexus → Data World → Forest
- To reach the Four-leaf clover:
The Nexus → 8-bit World → Forest
Trivia
- This is one of the many areas in the game to reference the french TV show Code Lyoko, the others being Data World, Desert, Mountain World, Ice World and Four Seasons Path.
