Night World is one of the main areas accessible from The Nexus.

Map of Night World.

Features

This area features purple leaves, gray growth, lampposts, and eye imagery over a star-like background. A singular, long bench sits amidst them. Interacting with the front of some scattered blocks will summon a wiggly (but stationary) ghoul, like the Namekuji in Yume Nikki's Forest World.

Going a few steps south and then east from the entrance, one can find a purple-screened computer atop a desk. Interacting with it will transport Urotsuki to Lavender Office. Directly north or south of the entrance, there is a stylistic Teleport Rune, which will lead to Crossing Forest if Urotsuki has the Crossing effect (using it is not necessary). Without the Crossing effect, the rune will be transparent and make the sound of said effect as a hint. Northwest of the entrance, there is another Teleport Rune, which will teleport Urotsuki to Heart Maze.

Southwest of the bench, one of the blocks is marked by blood. Interacting or moving up to the front of it will send Urotsuki to the Twitching Child event, where there is a drawing of a crying child covering their face. Moving around will distort the child, and the distortions will intensify if certain effects are equipped, like Wolf. Exiting to the west will produce refusal sounds and laughter.

Directions

  • The Nexus → Night World

Trivia

  • Several effects cause the smaller eyes littering the scenery to react to your presence.
    • If you have the Chainsaw, Glasses (includes Twintails mix), Eyeball Bomb, Child, or Red Riding Hood (includes Raincoat mix) effects on, they will look at you and follow your movements.

    • Invisible is the same, but the eyes instead look around frantically in confusion.
    • Telephone makes their pupils change to ! marks while looking at you.
    • Using Cake's action to make it drip makes their pupils into hearts while looking.
