Red Black World is a world accessible from either Downfall Garden B or the Sea of Clouds.

Features

Red Black World is set in a large black void with various red outlines of objects, such as trees, plants, faces, various rows of floating "o"s and other creatures. After entering from Downfall Garden B, Urotsuki will be placed in front of a face. Slightly southeast from this face is a abstract structure that leads to Copper Cube Plains.

Heading north and a bit west from the face is a small triangle with an entrance. Interacting with it sends Urotsuki inside one of the tents in the Abandoned Campsite with no way of returning. From this tent, heading east one can find a house within the group of trees. Inside the house is a NPC that shows a speech bubble when interacted with. Chainsawing them will corrupt them and makes various "x" boxes appear on the screen.

North and a bit east from the house is a large entrance with an eye on the top that leads to the Sea of Clouds.

Trivia

• This world has the largest known gap between removal and restoration as of 0.126, having been removed in 0.078, which is to say that Red Black World has resurfaced into 2kki after 15 years, having its second rework since 0.068.
• The 0.126 iteration of this world was constructed from assets originally created by fellow 2kki author oneirokamara.
• Prior to its removal, the world's environmental motif emphasized tribal patterns, either in a scattered layout, or a structured form as mazes.
• In 0.055, its first iteration:
  • This world was the original location of the Fairy effect before it was eventually placed in the Black Building in newer versions.
  • The area consisted of a larger section scattered with tribal patterns and a face-like structure, and a smaller labyrinthine section.
    • The main section was where you can obtain the Fairy effect, or access the Highway.
    • The labyrinth housed an area filled with 死 (shi, death) characters, where stepping on the center traps you in an area full of 死, where the only way to escape is to wake up.
  • Red Black World, Droplets World and Onyx Tile World can be seen as the predecessors of Purple World.
  • The chasers do not harm Urotsuki, strangely enough, and instead move in random directions, doing nothing when interacted with.
  • The large face on the map's first iteration looks vaguely similar to the one from the Graffiti World in Yume Nikki.
• In 0.068:
  • This world, after being replaced by the Character World, has been minimized to a maze known as the Red Black Maze, where you could access the Highway and Pokémon World. The Red Black Maze is very limited compared to its former appearance in versions prior to the Character World.
