The first building seen on the way into September - the furthest to the west - can be entered. Going through the doorway in the first room of this building leads to another room with an exit that plays a cutscene of Minnatsuki opening the door, seeing there's nothing on the other side, and closing it again. Though an apparent dead end, there is nonetheless a missing window in the first room of the building that can be climbed though; the hall beyond this window leads to the corresponding building in April, permanently unlocking this door as a connection between the two locations.

    Map of September (Main Area)

September is a location accessible from April.

    Features

September is a location that appears to closely resemble its preceding location, April, with the layouts of the two towns being virtually identical. While April has a cheery atmosphere, September is much gloomier, utilizing droning ambient music and a darker color palette; instead of being surrounded by grassy fields, the roads in September are suspended in a dark void, with almost nothing between them to walk on. The Lumen and Soulfire eidola can be used to make the location marginally brighter.

    Forest

When entering September from the bed in April, Minnatsuki will first be transported to the middle of a small, dark forest. This area is mostly empty, though it is occupied by two marshmallow NPCs from April that still change appearance when burned with the Soulfire eidolon. The only exit from this forest is via a tall ladder on the north side of the map.

    Town

Much like April, climbing the ladder in the forest will place Minnatsuki by an open manhole in the middle of the road, with the only way forward being to the east. Attempting to return to this entrance after walking into town will reveal that the manhole has disappeared, and two red eyes will be staring at Minnatsuki from the darkness beyond the end of the road.

Throughout September are a few odd NPCs, including a walking traffic cone in the middle of the town and a humanoid figure sitting on the easternmost end of the road. The humanoid figure cannot be killed with the Soulfire eidolon, but the Spectral eidolon will cause its head to be replaced with a melon. There are also two pairs of jellyfish-like creatures in town that act as teleporters. While one jellyfish pair acts as a shortcut between the east and west sides of town, the jellyfish on the north side of town teleports Minnatsuki to an isolated platform with a bicycle. This bicycle functions in the same way as the bicycle that can be rented in April. It is free, and it can be taken back and forth between September and April, meaning that it can eliminate the need to pay for rentals.
