Karoushi is an area accessible from Dark Archives.

Map of Karoushi

Features

Karoushi is a small world that currently consists of three non-looping subareas. It contrasts a leafy green forest with many gray man-made elements, and paths through the world are lined with tile floors and office fixtures such as filing cabinets, loose papers, desks, photocopiers, and computers. Tied nooses can be seen hanging from the tree canopy throughout the world, and a number of large razor blades can be found embedded in the ground further in.

The initial area accessed from Dark Archives contains a vending machine just north of the entrance and an open connection sign further to the east. There is a hidden path underneath the treeline directly north of the open connection that leads to a second open area. Directly north of this hidden path is a second hidden path underneath the trees that leads to an entirely new map, where another long path is lined by large television screens on both sides. Continuing north along this path leads to a third and final screen that features a panoramic view of a grassy field and hills with a city of tall, gray buildings in the distance. Equipping either the Spectral or Youth eidola here will make the buildings disappear, replacing them with a view of a starry sky and revealing a closed connection.
