Fused Faces World is an area accessible through the structure with the gaping mouth of the white face in Onyx Tile World.

Map of Fused Faces World.

Features

This is a large world with a scrolling background consisting of two clusters of fused faces, hence the name. This world is rather empty, spare the few corrupted faces. Equipping the Glasses effect will make the parallax scroll faster. This effect will last until you leave the world.

The entrance to this area from the Onyx Tile World is a face with a disgusted expression and its tongue out. Interacting with its mouth again will send you back to the pathway.

Heading northwest from the entrance, you can find a detonator, which upon interacting with, will switch the world to its Photorealistic State.

Heading directly west from the entrance, you can find a face with a gaping mouth. Walking into its mouth will send you to another similar face that is south of the entrance, and vice-versa, and play a laughing sound.

Southwest of the entrance, you can find three other faces looking upwards. You can find a red eye below the third face in this area which will lead you to the Crazed Faces Maze.

Photorealistic State

Just as the world occurs, gray-colored chasers crying tears of blood will appear. After a short period of time, they will all begin to run towards you. They will stop moving if the Crossing effect or the Invisible effect is equipped. Additionally, they will run away when the player uses the Trombone effect. If caught by the chasers, the player will be sent into a confined space surrounded by four disfigured faces, the background there being a giant face present scrolling at a fast speed, switching its colors from white to black. The red eye has also turned into a monochrome mushroom-shaped object, which plays a sound when interacted with.

Lastly, the detonator has been moved to a random location in the area, interacting with it again will switch the world back to its initial state.

Trivia

  • Before version 0.120, this world had a somewhat different appearance and layout.
  • The pathway leading to this area used to lead to Blue House Road prior to version 0.114g Patch 2. It also had a different BGM, consisting of horrifying screams and thunder similar to the current iteration, but was changed to a different track due to copyright concerns.
