There are 30 different Effects in Yume Tsushin that Wormiko can collect.

This page lists all of the different Effects in Yume Tsushin, along with their locations and instructions on how to get them. Clicking on the image for each Effect will take you to the article for the world they are located in.

Yume Tsushin has a unique menu system with the appearance of an old telephone's rotary dial. The effects are split into three dials which can be toggled by using left or right arrow keys. The instructions are an exception to this and they are available from the beginning.

While Long Hair is equipped, there is a random chance that Wormiko will suddenly rot away and melt after a period of time. If this happens, she will immediately wake up.

This effect can be unlocked in the real world by seeing the Throne of Entrails event, after which it will be accessible from Wormiko's Room.

Third dial

Right to left: Doll Costume, Maid, Piggy Bank, Robot, Summer Outfit, Magic Cube, Eyeball Foot, Funnel, Doll, Cellphone.

These effects are placed on the third dial in the menu.

Doll Costume

玩偶服

Found in the maintenance room of Amusement Park, accessible from a side door in a small building found straight north from entrance.

The effect is a mascot-like costume of Wormiko and the effect action makes the wearer remove the head revealing different characters.

Maid

女仆

Found in the Majestic Garden after interacting with the passive Eyepatched Slime Catgirl.

The effect dresses Wormiko up in a maid outfit. Using the effect action makes Wormiko carry a water glass which has a random chance of making Wormiko slip to the ground.

Piggy Bank

存钱罐

Found in the Spring World after interacting with the Corpse with a deep back wound.

The effect allows Wormiko to store money and equipping it transforms Wormiko into a piggy bank and using the effect generates one coin.

Robot

机器人

Found in the Factory after interacting with the toy robot left on the conveyor belt.

The robot works as a second character that can be moved to different worlds as checkpoints you can warp back to or return the robot to Wormiko.

Summer Outfit

夏装

Found in the Oceanfront Architecture's barber shop.

It's an alternative white outfit for Wormiko.

Magic Cube

魔方

Found in the Low-poly Town after interacting with the Rubik's Cube found in the forest path north from the town.

The effect turns Wormiko into a puzzle resembling a 3x3 Rubik's Cube and using it scrambles Wormiko's face.

Eyeball Foot

眼珠脚

Found in the Residential Building after interacting with the Foot Blob.

The effect makes Wormiko's face be foot-shaped and using it squints the foot and eyes.

Funnel

漏斗

Found in the Swamp World after interacting with the Gray Furless Animal with a pet cone over their head.

The effect makes Wormiko wear a funnel over their head and it has no effect actions.

Doll

洋娃娃

Found in the Plush Grave after interacting with the Rowboat Girl found in the area.

It's an alternative pink outfit for Wormiko that can be mixed with the Goth Dress effect for a black outfit. Using the effect makes the doll's head fall to the ground turning her headless and slowing her movement.

Cellphone

手机

Found in the Nexus's conveyor belt in a present box after waiting for all worlds to repeat once.

Using it lets you select phone backgrounds and menu themes, which are all unlocked at start. There are four premade phone backgrounds but you're able to send one photo taken at Amusement Park's Photo Booth and one collectable photo to be used as a wallpaper.

Trivia

If you sit down for long enough with the Long Hair effect equipped, Wormiko will suddenly fall into her own hair, instantly waking her up.
It is currently not possible to get the starting unscrambled Magic Cube face back. The effect only rolls randomly between the 6 scrambled versions.
In versions before 0.01 there was a bug with the Microwave effect where, if you equipped it after using the Sweeping Robot effect and instantly returned to the Nexus, the Microwave would occasionally retain the speed boost. Unequipping the Microwave effect and then equipping it again or interacting with Model N3K-0 would fix this issue.
- This bug could also sometimes break the conveyor effect's smooth movement, instead substituting it for one that's more blocky.
