The Gray Staircase is an area accessible from the stairway at the upper-left part of the Unreal Nexus.

Features

Gray Staircase is comprised of a series of multiple maps. Upon entering from Unreal Nexus, Qiu Qin's appearance changes to resemble the NPCs wandering the map. Her head changes to black and gray, and her face is replaced with 3 green dots.

Gray Staircase starts off with a small room, with one set of stairs on the left side which leads to a singular staircase. Going up loops you between three different staircases, one with empty walls, and two with different sets of graffiti, and going down on any of the three staircases leads to a series of three long hallways, where the only way forward is by travelling left. Exiting the three hallways is a one way teleport to the main section of Gray Staircase. A large, looping, maze-like area comprised of multiple sets of stairs and gray shadowy silhouette like NPCs.

Travelling south-west from the start will lead to an apparent dead end with an NPC with a sign for a head, travelling past him reveals an invisible path shortcut to another section of the map. Travelling south west from the invisible path leads to a blue circle surrounded by ghostly blob and severed hand NPCs, standing on the blue circle is a one way warp to Pink Cube Zone.

Travelling south-east from the invisible path instead will eventually lead to a black hole with purple dots surrounding it, which acts as a one way warp to Dark Lantern.

Travelling west and then north from the invisible path leads to a human-like NPC seemingly hooked up to a giant robot, interacting with her grants Qiu Qin the Walker Delusion.

If you however travel south and then east of the start, you'll end up in an area of the map different from the rest with purple guardrails for walls. At the end of this area lies a dark gate with red lights coming from it. If you've visited Gray Staircase from Hallucination World before, the gate leads to a large purple building which leads to Hallucination World upon entering.
