The Unreal Nexus is the ingress to the dream world, with structures leading to different parts of the dream world.
Features
The Unreal Nexus appears as a floating platform in space, with checkerboard tiles making up the floor of the area. Columns dot the area. There are multiple branches off of the main hub of the area in order to create nooks for the teleporters to sit in. In the center of the world sits a glowing statue which will allow you to change your walking speed when interacted with. The Nexus seems to shift and change as you go through the game, adding in small cosmetic features as you see more of the space.
Locations
The Unreal Nexus leads to many locations within Qiu Qin's dream world. In clockwise order, these locations are:
- The house with the yellow roof leads to Sweet Home.
- The black and white door in the top right leads to Feverish Monochrome Maze.
- The green cat on the right leads to Weird Creatures Maze.
- The doorway in the center-right leads to The Laboratory.
- The white diamond at the bottom leads to Whimsical Plain Institute.
- The film reel in the center-left leads to 3D Projection.
- The green grey door at the left leads to Black Passage.
- The set of stairs in the top left leads to Gray Staircase.
In between Weird Creatures Maze and The Laboratory, a small path branching off leads to the Statue Museum. Above the path to the museum, you can find a small floating bottle that will heal Qiu Qin's HP. This is important and helpful to keep in mind if you're going anywhere with chaser NPCs.
