Mikan is the main protagonist of Braingirl.
Overview
Mikan is the character the player controls in Braingirl. In the real world, she has long, messy brown hair and simply wears an oversized green pajama shirt. In the dream world, she sports the same messy hair and green shirt but additionally wears a white windbreaker jacket, black stockings, red ankle boots with white bottoms, and a red backpack.
Unlike the homes of most Yume Nikki fangame protagonists, her apartment appears to be quite large and she is able to freely move around it outside of its bedroom area, though she can't/won't exit the apartment room itself. Despite this, her dream worlds still indicate she is familiar with outside imagery, one example being the Streets Hub. The apartment, littered with items and various tape-shut boxes, could indicate she has recently moved in or is considering moving out. Her sporting a backpack in the dream world may indicate this move is for schooling purposes.
