Mother is a recurring character in nostAlgic, as well as its chaser-type character. She can notably be found by interacting with either books in the Nursery Room or Psychedelic Mirror World as non-interactable character, as well as Scarred Mirror World as an aggressive chaser. Something unique to her chaser version is that she can also be stopped with the Carnation effect and wakes A up when she catches them.

Looking into the game folders, most assets related to her are named either or haha.

Fruit Heads

The Fruit Heads were an alternate chaser-type characters in versions prior to 0.06. They were humanoid figures with what seemed to be apple-like fruits as their heads. They were always passive, and only turned aggressive when attacked with the Fruit Knife effect, sending A in isolated places.
