The Chemical Research Facility (実験室, Laboratory) is an area accessible from a building in the Upper Highway.
Features
Climbing up the stairs from the entrance, the Chemical Research Facility starts off in its upper section, a looping area filled with pipes and lights, in which these pipes are connected to containment chambers. As you explore this section, you will encounter another set of stairs leading to the main proper.
The research facility itself is a series of rooms and corridors, with standard laboratory equipment along the way, such as flasks, beakers, and microscopes, most of which are placed on tables. Going all the way right from the first main corridor, you will encounter a branching path of two other doors, where the middle door leads to the deeper parts of the laboratory, where you can find storage rooms and more laboratory rooms, while the bottom door is a small corridor to the elevator, which is a one-way trip to the Volcanic Subterrain.
