Map of Lush Hilltop

Lush Hilltop is an area accessible from the image of the computer at the bottom of the main page in Terracities.

Features

Lush Hilltop is a horizontally looping world filled with grassy terrain situated upon gray, block-like mesas. The world is divided into several discrete tiers of elevation, which can be accessed by walking up or down thin ramps that blend in with the rest of the terrain. At the northern edges of the world, a horizon of purple clouds moving across a darker purple sky can be observed. Many gray, rectangular archways and structural frames, featuring darker gray markings arranged in horizontal patterns across their tops and at their bases, can be found standing throughout the area. These structures are found in smaller and simpler forms at higher elevations, often reduced to mere cubes at the far north.

Across the turf can be seen the occasional pattern composed of darker green squares. Surrounded by one of these patterns, upon the lowest elevation tier, sits an old desktop computer and monitor, which serve as the connection to Terracities.

Small herbaceous plants with round leaves, resembling those of the genus Hydrocotyle, can be seen among the grasses, and, at the higher elevations to the north, many have grown to massive sizes. Enormous vegetables, among other food items, lay strewn across the world as well. East of the computer is a trail of scattered beans that leads to a giant bulb of garlic and half of a red onion. Northeast of the computer is a narrow ramp with a pair of massive leeks laying among more scattered beans to the north of ramp's bottom. To the east of the base of this ramp is a large brown onion, sitting on an out of reach platform, along with some more beans and a purple closed connection sign.

Taking a series of two short ramps northwest from the computer and then heading northeast will bring Minnatsuki to a platform rising from a pit, upon which can be seen a collection of various oversized foods. This includes some beans, two halves of a boiled egg, a chunk of bread, a red bell pepper, red and orange cherry tomatoes, and a leaf of lettuce. Just beneath this platform is a smaller platform accessible by a very short ramp. Accessing this platform will enable the camera to be panned upward, centering the food within the frame.

Dark-skinned NPCs with bright hair, wearing cream-colored clothing, can be found sitting on or hiding behind some of the world's rectangular structures. When approached by Minnatsuki, they will silently fade away. Among them include:

  • One with light orange hair, found reading a book on an archway southwest from the computer that connects to Terracities.
  • One with pink hair, styled into two buns, standing and peeking out from behind the corner of a structure located east of the computer.
  • One with mauve hair, sitting on a structure with legs crossed, located by going up a narrow ramp northeast from the computer and heading east once at the top.

Cart

Heading north from the location of the sitting mauve-haired NPC, taking the narrow ramp to the northwest, and then heading just a little ways to the northeast will lead Minnatsuki to a large wooden cart covered in decorative markings. The cart features a curved, light orange roof, brown sides and spoked, asymmetrically-sized wheels, and a purple front wall with a dark gray lantern hanging above a brown door. A short staircase allows access to this door.

Minnatsuki can enter the cart to find a dining area with purple walls, furnished with two large wooden tables, green stools at a wooden countertop, and a large, green rug. Behind the countertop are two shelves topped with various bottles and jars, next to a wooden cabinet. A shelf above the table on the right holds a maneki-neko and a sculpture of a hand. A shelf above the opposite table carries a blue and white plate and two small, potted herbs from the grounds outside. A pot where a large version of the herb is planted sits near the table on the right. Beside the counter, below a different potted plant on a corner shelf, is a wooden door.

Any NPCs that have been found and witnessed vanishing outside will now be found in here, sitting at the table on the right. They will remain here until Minnatsuki exits the world. When interacted with from the side, they will briefly turn their heads towards Minnatsuki, with the mauve and light orange-haired NPCs making a noise. The pink-haired NPC will remain silent, but will stick their tongue out instead. The counter is being wiped down by the Bartender, who appears similar to the other denizens of this world, and has dark skin, brown hair, a beard, and is wearing a blue shirt and a purple apron. They will pause their cleaning when Minnatsuki steps behind the counter and will make a noise when interacted with.

Behind the door next to the counter is a kitchen area with green walls. At the back wall of the kitchen are a pantry, a counter, and an iron stove. In front of them in the center of the kitchen is a stovetop range, and between them is a wide purple floor mat. Pots of a brown liquid sit on the range, as well as the iron stove, upon which a wooden spoon can also be found. On the counter are two large tomatoes and a cutting board. The smaller of the two tomatoes has a chunk missing from it, and on the cutting board are a knife and slices of a red ingredient. Above the counter is a knife rack. A giant bulb of garlic with two cloves removed rests in the corner. Flaked pieces of the garlic, along with some beans, are scattered across the kitchen.

If Minnatsuki attempts to enter the cart from outside while in the Rodentia Eidolon's miniature rodent form, the Bartender will become alert and stop wiping the counter. The screen will shake and begin to turn red, a high-pitched noise will play, and Minnatsuki will be immediately booted outside to the sound of the door slamming shut. Attempting to take on this form while inside the cart will result in the same. This includes the kitchen area, though the Bartender will not be seen here. The default humanoid form of the Rodentia Eidolon, however, will not cause this to occur.
