Crow's Nest is an area accessible from Pale Plateau.

Features

The Crow's Nest is an area with narrow paths and crows that caw when interacted with. A yellow-eyed Shadow Bird stands to the south in the main area. Interacting with it will not return Urotsuki to Pale Plateau, instead taking her to a cage surrounded by red-eyed Shadow Birds and filled with crows. Interacting with the red-eyed chasers will make Urotsuki wake up on the nest at the bottom of the cage. A yellow-eyed Shadow Bird to the north can be interacted with to return to the main area.

The crows will move slower if the Chainsaw effect is equipped and can be killed without punishment. If, on the other hand, the Grave effect is equipped, the crows in the main area will turn transparent and Urotsuki will be able to walk through them.

The first area also has branching paths to the left and right. In the left screen, going all the way west through the crows blocking the path will lead to an egg. In the east area, the same egg is found in the southeasternmost nest. Both eggs teleport the player to the nest containing the egg in the entrance, which leads to the Bone Zone.

If the Bat effect is used to set a warp point in the main area where the yellow-eyed Shadow Bird resides, the player can return there from the isolated egg that leads to the Bone Zone. This has little benefit.
