There are quite a lot of beds in Yume Nikki. The first is her real bed, that Madotsuki sleeps inorder enter her dream world. In her dream world there are 5 main beds. The one that apears in her room, one in the snow world, one in the candle world, one in the Bed room part of the numbers world (there are many beds here, only one can be slept in though. It's near the row of cupboards) and one in the cube world. One out of these beds will transport Madotsuki to the Hand Staircase when slept in, the others will do nothing. The bed that acts as a transport is randomly selected each time Madotsuki enters the dream world. The only way to access the underground world and mars is by decending the hand staircase.
