[[Category:qxy]] Floating Catacombs is an area accessible from a tunnel in the Viridescent Temple.
Features
The Floating Catacombs, being a deeper part of the Viridescent Temple, is a dark, dreary expanse with cubic structures like in the aforementioned world, which feature neon-green mushrooms growing out of them, where some of the structures here are floating in mid-air, as the name implies.
In the lower section, you can find a door to a small area filled with these glowing mushrooms. Among the mushrooms are some hallucigenia-like worms that quickly disappear with approaching footsteps, but remain if the Fairy or Spacesuit effect is used.
Somewhere in the main area is a staircase to a floating cube that you can interact with. Backtracking after doing so will reveal a monstrous figure emerging from the staircase, and going further will take you to the Fossil Lake.
