The Meta-Nexus is an area accessible from the bifurcation at the end of Chaos.

Features

This area features a circle of eight different doors to the dream worlds of various dreamers, with Itsuki's door being the entrance, along with a golden door at the center, over a serene, bluish background with orbs of light. In version 0.11, you are able to peek into the other sides of the doors, and must do so in counterclockwise order to proceed to the center. On the other side of each door is the bedroom/dream world entrance of another character, but you can't go inside, only knock or back away.

Spoilers: Collecting all crystals

[Show/Hide]
If you've collected all of the crystals, the scene behind the door with the rainbow circles will be altered; The crystals will flash as the cliff scene is slowly colored in, with the dark silhouette standing up, wandering in confusion, turning into a human, and walking through the door hesitantly; The screen will then be covered in static and flash images of a hospital room. This will also add a bonus cutscene after the good ending is completed. It's best to view it yourself. Spoilers end here.

The central door leads to a stairway connected to a blue platform over crystalline-looking bars, where the dream inhabitants, especially those who have granted Itsuki's effects, are congregated here, making the place their refuge. You can interact with the fox, Miru, and pet him, or you can interact with the Teru in order to be granted the Baku effect.

Trivia

  • The characters on the other sides of the doors are mostly abandoned fanfiction ideas Jojogape had, save for a few.
    • The character in the furthest bottom door is Panuk, a character in a novel Jojogape is writing named Regulus Harbor. The dream depicted in-game is described in the novel as well.
    • The bottom right character is Victor, from Digimon Extend.
    • The rightmost character is Will, a character made for a scrapped Ratchet & Clank fanfic.
    • The top right character is Sergio, made for Code Lyoko. He is depicted in his digital form (it's related to the show). Code Lyoko also inspired several worlds throughout the game.
    • The character at the very top is Nacho, who belongs to Super Paper Mario.
    • The character in the top left door is Joaquín, a character from a Kingdom Hearts fanfiction. They also give you the Lab Coat effect in High School; extended trivia can be found in that page's Trivia section.
    • The character in the leftmost door is [Spoilers: Collecting all crystals] Kazumi, the protagonist of 311, a linear YNFG from 2013 that seems to take place at the same time as Someday. The hospital room the game begins each dream sequence in is shown as 3D renders during the crystal cutscene described above. When playing the game you may choose any name you want, though. She is also Itsuki's mother.
    • The character in the bottom left door is Itsuki, the protagonist of Someday, which is a relatively well known Yume Nikki Fangame you've probably never heard of.
