Crossing Forest is an area accessible from a Teleport Rune in Night World, if the player has the Crossing effect.

Features

This medium-sized looping world is made up of mostly trees and crossing signs, along with three roads. Entering from a deep brown Teleport Rune in Night World, several clones of Urotsuki can be seen riding their Motorcycles along the road, some heading to the left and others to the right. If Urotsuki crashes into them, an explosion sound will play and she will be knocked backwards.

A traffic light to the south warps Urotsuki to the Underground. Kiki, a black cat with a red outfit can also be found after walking right or left from the traffic light. Interacting with Kiki makes an electronic sound. Equipping the Polygon effect will make Kiki angular, and a question mark will appear. Activating the Crossing effect will freeze Kiki, and two exclamation marks will appear. Both effects affect the sound Kiki makes. A vending machine and bench are near there.

Underground

This subarea consists of many gray eyes, a black-and-white graffiti road and a giant statue. Interacting with this statue takes Urotsuki to the Crossing Thickets.

Trivia

  • The area's Japanese name, Fumikiri Forest, is translated into Crossing Forest. Fumikiri is composed of "Fumi (step)" and "kiri (cut)", meaning cutting off from stepping.
  • The eyes in the Underground react to effects, like the ones in Night World.
