The Biological Research Facility is an area accessible from a corridor in the Beige Box Factory.
Features
Biological Research Facility is an industrial-looking map that features two main areas. The outdoor area is a large, looping area accompanied by pipes in the foreground, releasing a gray smoke.
Underground Lab
Going down a set of stairs between two metal pipes leads you into the Underground Lab. The indoors consists of a series of halls and stairs leading to various room filled with scientific equipment, such as beakers, flasks, and microscopes, as well as diagrams displayed on the wall. One of the doors in the upper section (before the music changes) leads to a small hallway leading to an elevator which takes the player to The Foundry.
Going further deeper into the lab leads to a lower section as the background music changes where golden, fleshy masses appear dripping and oozing along the walls and pipes. Continuing will lead you to a gate made of the fleshy mass, blocked only by a under construction message.
