Hometown is an area accessible from the beach in Cloud City Trail.

Features

Hometown is - despite the name - a small, compact home with only a few areas to explore, acting as a memoiristic dead end after a lengthy travelling journey.

Upon waking from the train cabin, Minnatsuki finds themself at the entrance of a dilapidated, yet cosy living room. The area is sparsely decorated and appears to have long since been lived in due to the array of boxes littering the floor, the decaying of the floorboards and the peeling of the walls. To their left is a worn loveseat and two framed pictures seated before a vivid red, ornate rug. A large box television rests to its side, flashing a blue screen that illuminates the space in a soft glow. Interacting with the television with display three serene images of nature photography. The only sources of natural light in the room is from three windows filtering in soft sunshine - two in the living room and one in the staircase.

Continuing upstairs, the theming of abandonment is still prevalent. Two doors stand on each side of the bookcase - the first being locked and the second leading to a small bedroom.

The bedroom is in a seemingly better, more lived-in state than the living room or hallway. A large rug similar to the one seen downstairs is sprawled in the middle of the room, along with pale, decorative pillows. To the immediate right of the door stands a bookcase, a small, white trash bin and a small wooden desk. Against the wall is another pair of framed photos and a well-made bed that Minnatsuki can tuck themselves into. Doing so will cause the once-sunny scenery out the solo window to shift into a night sky full of glittering stars, blanketing the room in darkness. After a few moments, transparent stars will scroll across the screen - similar to a night light projector - and add a touch of nostalgia along with the sweet chimes of a music box.
