The Underneath is an area accessible from the ladder in Thorn Fields.

Features

The Underneath is composed of multiple dilapidated halls. Doors lead to rooms with computers in them, some containing numbers on their screen. Interacting with the computers with numbers will help unlock a room. Interacting with all four computers will fully unlock the room, allowing the lever next to the green lights shown before to be pulled, opening the door. The screens on the computer will turn green after being interacted with. Throughout the area are several chasers. The chasers are nearly as fast as Minnatsuki's running speed. Get caught will send Minnatsuki to very first room.

After entering the door that was locked, you will be led to a room with The Doppelganger, a single black smiling figure standing in the middle. Interacting with said figure will start an event, in which the figure is now being controlled by the player. After going through the door, the camera and Minnatsuki remains in the room. There will now be a website border around the screen, as well as a cursor that can be controlled with the movement keys. Clicking the X with said cursor will cause Minnatsuki to return from the spirit world.
