Found south of the Watching Waters connection.

Paleontology Dunes is a world accessible from a pyramid structure in Watching Waters.

Map of Paleontology Dunes.

Features

Paleontology Dunes is a wide, windswept, sandy plane with many dark red bones, fossils and ravines littered around the surface of the desert. There are deep ravines found all around the area, which can make navigation quite difficult. Small pyramids and odd yellow growths can also be found around the region, which slopes into a dark, impassable void at its edges.

Directly west of the entrance from Watching Waters is a small NPC resembling the skeletons that litter the dunes. Interacting with this NPC will take the player to Stargazing Puddles.

Slightly north-east of the entrance from Watching Waters is a spiral-shaped plant with a red eye that leads back to the Lonely Mint Cemetery and unlocks the connection to here from this world.

In the centre of the map, there is a large, unearthed skeleton of a mesozoic creature with a vending machine settled by its chin.

Trivia

  • The world's name is a play on the word 化石 (kaseki), meaning "fossil".
