The Silent Sewers is an area accessible from Seaside Village or by taking the shortcut through Urotsuki's Dream Apartments.

Map of the Silent Sewers

Features

The Silent Sewers is an extremely quiet area with virtually no moving life, built out of blue walls with gratings and elaborate windows, and crossed by patches of grass over the marsh. The machinery snakes across the ground, forming paths made out of gratings and billowing smoke into the sky through tall towers.

The progression of the area is fairly linear, but it twists and turns and crosses over itself several times. A good entrance of this is southeast of the entrance, where you can find a maze of gratings split in two, where you can see a boat on the other side. Following the route from the left half of the maze, you will reach a statue in the middle of a grassy clearing. Equipping the Chainsaw or Marginal effects will change the statue's head. North-west from this statue, you can reach the boat at the right side of the maze, which leads to a large door in the wall.

Behind the door is a small hallway with a large fish lying upon the wall to the north of Urotsuki, which will stare at her. The next area is waterlogged and sandwiched between two walls- it leads to a small clearing, surrounded by shadows of trees, containing an ornate gate. This gate leads to the Ruined Garden.

North of the clearing's statue are two isles on the marsh connected by ladders leading to a staircase to the buildings' rooftops, where the path forward is blocked out by A/Cs, and the path left from the stairs is a straightforward route to the upper level. Forward from here is a path that splits into two routes, where the western path ends in a small opening accessible with the Child or Fairy effects, containing a corridor which leads to the Cyclops' Room. Taking the southern path however leads to the sewer's lower level, which is a corridor with a vending machine, a gigantic hand, and a door that leads to two linear hallways, which serve as a connection with the Dreary Drains.

Cyclops' Room

As the name implies, the Cyclops' Room is inhabited by a caped boy, who is revealed to be a cyclops when the either the Eyeball Bomb or the Glasses effects are equipped, while also causing him to follow Urotsuki. If killed, he has a 1/6 chance of dropping 250夢 instead of the usual 100夢.

Apart from the aforementioned creature, many boxes can be seen in the room, along with an inaccessible door blocked by one of the boxes and a television, which can be turned on, showing static or very rarely a single red letter on a light blue background.
